Janet Poteau

Janet was born and raised in Media, Pennsylvania. Her Father immigrated from France to Pennsylvania and was naturalized in Philadelphia PA. He met her Mother at a USO dance during World War II. Although they originally settled in Reims, France, they came back to America and raised Janet with her 10 siblings.

Janet was fortunate to be in this family, all of whom are successful adults (Professionals, Teachers, College Professors & Business Owners), Janet was fortunate to experience the truth of "Adversity Makes You Stronger". This rule of life has followed Janet throughout her personal and business life.

Janet has been licensed in real estate since 1985, first working as a real estate salesperson with ARA Real Estate in Parkesburg, PA until 2012, when she commenced with her new company, Accelerate Real Estate & Property Management, as Broker of Record.

Janet has two grown children, Janice living in Naples Florida with her three children, and Greg living in Birdsboro PA with his family of four, both of whom work for Accelerate Real Estate in various capacities.

Janet is Detailed, Loyal, Savvy, Mature, Seasoned. When Janet isn't working with her real estate passion, you'll find her with her favorite hobbies of spending time with family; cooking; gardening and bike riding at 60 - 80 miles a week. She travels between her Pennsylvania and Florida offices, on a regular basis.
